What personal information do we collect from those that visit our website and when do we collect it?
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, phone number, credit card information or other details to help you with your experience. We collect information from you when you place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a form or enter information on our site.
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
- To quickly process your transactions.
- To ask for ratings and reviews of services or products.
- To send periodic emails regarding a requested quote or reservation or for marketing purposes.
Do we use ‘cookies’?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since each browser is a little different, look at your browser’s Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services may not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the phone or by email.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advanced notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
At our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
How does our site handle Do Not Track signals?
We honor Do Not Track signals and Do Not Track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. It’s important to note that we allow third-party behavioral tracking including:
Facebook Pixel: We use the Facebook Pixel to track how many times our website is visited through any of the Facebook ads we publish and one what type of device (ex. mobile, desktop, etc.) The Pixel is enabled to automatically re-target Facebook ads towards those who visit certain pages as long as they are logged into their Facebook account. We do not track nor have access to any personal information of any individual who may visit our site through the Facebook Pixel. Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to track how many times our website is visited and from what source (Google, Bing, other websites). We do not use google to re-target ads towards those who visit our website. We do not track or have access to any personal information of any individual who may visit our site through the Google Analytics Pixel.

EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Statement
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standardizes data protection law across all 28 EU countries and imposes strict new rules on controlling and processing personally identifiable information (PII). It also extends the protection of personal data and data protection rights by giving control back to EU residents. GDPR replaces the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive and supersedes the 1998 UK Data Protection Act.
GDPR applies to all organizations holding and processing EU resident’s personal data, regardless of geographic location. While we are a Minnesota-based local business, we have the potential to offer our services to, or monitor the behavior of EU residents, meaning we must meet GDPR compliance requirements. What does this mean to you as a consumer?
We must obtain freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent to obtain and use your personal data. To meet these requirements, we will:
- Only use the information you provide as specified on the form being filled out
- We will not market to you via email unless you ‘opt-in’, whether it be on our email list sign-up form or through our “Welcome” email received after booking a reservation.
- If you opt-in for periodic emails and you do not wish to receive them, you may unsubscribe at any time and that email address will be deleted completely from our list.
We store only the information necessary to complete any quote or reservation requests. This may be updated or deleted at any time by emailing or calling us.
California Online Privacy Protection Act

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
Fair Information Practices
The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.
To be in line with Fair Information Practices, we will take the following responsive action should a data breach occur:
We will notify you via email within 7 business days.
We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.
CAN SPAM Act
The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.
We collect your email address to:
- Send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions
- Process orders and to send information and updates pertaining to orders.
- Send you additional information related to your product and/or service
- Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails to our clients after the original transaction has occurred.
To be in accordance with CANSPAM, we agree to the following:
- Not use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.
- Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.
- Include the physical address of our business or site headquarters.
- Monitor third-party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used.
- Honor opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly.
- Allow users to unsubscribe by using the link at the bottom of each email.
If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, follow the instructions at the bottom of each email and we will promptly remove you from ALL correspondence.
